Schedule an Appointment
The Counseling Services Office is located in Room A-247 of Student Services and is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Those wishing to use the Counseling Services Office are encouraged to make an appointment by calling 513-6008.
Dr. Betsy Taylor, the CVM Psychologist, is happy to take walk-ins, should her schedule allow. Appointment times outside of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. may also be scheduled. If someone has a mental health emergency and Dr. Taylor is not available, please contact Campus Police at 911 or 515-3333. Campus Police will contact the on-call counselor [who is a member of the NC State University Counseling Center staff].
For those off campus with a mental health emergency, 24-hour assistance is available by calling Holly Hill/Charter at 919-250-7000.
