Description of Program:
The program will include daily clinical service (all species), participation in rounds, organized academic reading with mentors, student laboratory exercises, emergency service coverage, and research. The residency will be structured to prepare a successful candidate for eligibility and certification by the ACVA.
The resident works with an anesthesia section consisting of four faculty anesthesiologists and six registered veterinary technicians and participates in a three-year comprehensive veterinary anesthesia training program .
