Hours: The equine medicine service receives elective cases routinely between 10-12 weekdays and at other times by special arrangement. Please call between 8-5 weekdays for an estimate and appointment.

Emergency Services
The equine medicine service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for treatment of emergency problems. To refer a horse on an emergency basis, call 919.513.6640 during the day or 919.513.6500 after hours.

Debbie Frank, RVT, Clinical Technician
Debbie has been a licensed veterinary technician for 15 years. She worked at the University of California at Davis Veterinary Teaching Hospital in the Large Animal Intensive Care/Isolation Unit and at the Lab Animal Health Clinic before relocating to North Carolina. She has shown quarter horses in reining, cutting, and trail events.
