Tammy has worked with and cared for horses on a private level for thirty-five years and on a professional level for eighteen years. Tammy is administrator of all activities at the Equine Health Center at Southern Pines.

 

 

Gail Quick
Office Assistant
Employed since 1999

Gail has twenty-nine years experience in personal business management and thirty-nine years personal experience with owning horses.

Pamela Wilser
Laboratory Manager
N.C. Reg. Veterinary Technician
Employed since August 2002

Pam has five years experience in the preventative maintenance care for many horses at this facility. Pam has prior experience with several small animal hospitals as a veterinary technician in Cary and Raleigh, North Carolina.

 

Dennis Stanley
Maintenance Mechanic & Animal Care Technician
Employed since September 2005

Dennis has worked with and cared for horses at the NCSU Equine Health Center for two years and on a private level for thirty-one years.

 

 

 

Chris Hunter
Animal Care Technician
Employed since October 2007

Chris is a 2007 graduate of NC State University with an Associates Degree majoring in Livestock and Poultry Management. Chris has ridden horses for seven years and was showing cutting horses for the first three.  He has also competed in rodeos riding bulls and saddle broncs.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.
