Diane Deresienski, VMD, DABVP (Canine/Feline Practice)

Dr. Deresienski received her undergraduate degree in biology from Boston College and veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989. Following graduation, she worked in a large/small/zoo animal practice in Naples, Florida for 4 years. In 1993, Dr. D began working in Raleigh at Bowman Animal Hospital where she refined the art of veterinary practice for 27 years. During that time, she became adjunct faculty in 1998 to teach NC State veterinary students exotic animal medicine/surgery in small animal practice until the Exotic Animal Medicine Service was reopened at the CVM in 2012. She achieved board certification in Canine/Feline Practice in 2000 through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. She is also certified in the PennHIP radiographic technique and Fear Free/low stress technique.
