Tatiane Terumi Negrao Watanabe, DVM, MS, PhD, Dipl. ACVP

Dr. Negrão Watanabe earned her DVM in 2008 from the São Paulo State University (UNESP), Brazil. She completed her master’s in 2011 at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil. In 2014, she obtained a PhD at University of Milan, Italy. She finished her anatomic pathology residency at Louisiana State University in 2019 and became a diplomate of American College of Veterinary Pathologist in the same year. Dr. Negrão Watanabe has been involved in diagnostics service, teaching, and collaborative research projects which so far include natural infectious diseases outbreaks of domestic animals, nutritional diseases in farm animals, equine gastroenterology, pathogenesis of mammalian neoplasia, as well as working with the swine and poultry industries.
