Over 15 years as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, and over 10 years experience in public relations and technical writing. Over four years experience in grant research and writing. Special depth in all aspects of companion animal health, especially veterinary neurology including patient rehabilitation, veterinary communications, career development, public speaking and technical writing. Special interests also include study of the Human-Animal Bond, Humane education-including the DAKOTAH Fund for Humane Education through the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Foundation, Inc.
