Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Symposium

October 14-15, 2017

For veterinarians, veterinary technicians, farriers, students, trainers, and owners

This unique two-day seminar will feature lectures and live demonstrations by internationally recognized authorities and prominent local veterinarians. The goal for attendees is to gain a better understanding of the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of sport horse injuries as well as the anatomy, pathophysiology, and treatment of laminitis.

The seminar will be held at the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine, located at 1060 William Moore Drive in Raleigh, North Carolina. The live demonstrations on Saturday afternoon will take place at Edelweiss Farm, located at 7012 Wildlife Trail in Raleigh, North Carolina. Transportation to and from the live demonstrations will be available.

  • 2 Day Registration – Veterinarian, Vet Tech, Farrier – $300 (will increase to $350 after October 1, 2017)
  • 2 Day Registration – Owner, Trainer – $250 (will increase to $300 after October 1, 2017)
  • 1 Day Registration – Veterinarian, Vet Tech, Farrier – $200 (will increase to $250 after October 1, 2017)
  • 1 Day Registration – Owner, Trainer – $175 (will increase to $225 after October 1, 2017)
  • Student Registration – $50 (will increase to $75 after October 1, 2017)

Registration is limited to 100 individuals. Registration fee includes admission to lectures and live demonstrations, breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday, admission to the Saturday evening reception, and 14 hours of continuing education credits for veterinarians, vet techs, and farriers.
