Avian Pathology

Students study changes in tissues from healthy and diseased birds by systems and etiology. Studies include poultry, companion, zoological, and free living species. Emphasis is on identification of lesions and their interpretation as a means of obtaining a diagnosis or studying fundamental aspects of avian health.
