The annual Equine Health Symposium, sponsored by the NC State Student Chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (SCAAEP), provides equine focused veterinary professionals with practical, up-to-date information on topics useful in everyday practice.

The topics presented at this year’s symposium will be Ophthalmology (Saturday) and Foal Management in the Field (Sunday). Sunday will also feature a program for horse owners / enthusiasts. One-day registrations are available.

All proceeds will support the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine Equine Health Program and the Student Chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners at North Carolina State University (SCAAEP).

Registration fees are as follows:

  • Veterinarians & Vet Techs – $165 for two-day registration; $95 for one-day registration
  • Students – $20
  • Horse Owner Program (Sunday only) – $35

The registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, and up to 12 hours of NCVMB approved CE credits for veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
