Wolfpack Webinars are back this Fall! These webinars are intended to connect our community virtually until we can be together again. Each webinar will be 1 hour and have a format similar to the Veterinary Medical Forum Series. A Q&A session will be available at the end of each webinar.

The webinars will be free to those that view them live.

 

Topic: Blood Smear Review

Speaker: Devorah Marks Stowe, DVM, DACVP –Clinical Assistant Professor

Lecture Objectives:

  • Understand how to prepare a quality, well-stained blood smear.

  • Explain the differences in red blood cell morphology and size and predominant leukocyte type in the major animal species.

  • Recognize common and important leukocyte morphology changes, RBC morphology findings and infectious agents.

 


Please note, this webinar will  be offered to attendees via a Live Zoom Lecture for free. Once registered, you will receive the Zoom link prior to the meeting to log on the day of. If you have a question during the lecture, use the chat feature to ask and the speaker will periodically answer questions.
