Wolfpack Webinars- Climate Change: What a Veterinarian Should Know? (Food Animal)

The all new Wolfpack Webinars are intended to connect our community virtually until we can be together again. Each webinar will be 1 hour and have a format similar to the Veterinary Medical Forum Series. A Q&A session will be available at the end of each webinar.

The webinars will be free to those that view them live and $10 for on-demand viewing using Moodle.


Topic:  Climate Change: What a Veterinarian Should Know? (Food Animal)

The session will cover:
1- The science supporting the continued warming of our planet
2- Examples of how global warming is impacting ecosystems and communities
3-Contribution of agriculture to global warming
4-Potential risks to livestock industries
5-Adaptation strategies for livestock industries
6-Ongoing and potential mitigation efforts to slow global warming.
