Overview:
What do you do when your typical treatments are not working? There are other options such as acupuncture and photobiomodulation that can be used with success in a variety of species, including exotic animals. Acupuncture treatments for common conditions will be presented as well as mechanisms and uses of photobiomodulation (cold laser) therapy.

Assistant professor Tara Harrison leads the Zoological Oncology and Therapeutics lab at the CVM.
