Wolfpack Webinars-Emotional Intelligence: Self and Social Awareness Benefits on Workplace Wellbeing

Wolfpack Webinars are back this Fall! These webinars are intended to connect our community virtually until we can be together again. Each webinar will be 1 hour and have a format similar to the Veterinary Medical Forum Series. A Q&A session will be available at the end of each webinar.

The webinars will be free to those that view them live.


Topic: Emotional Intelligence: Self and Social Awareness Benefits on Workplace Wellbeing

Speaker:  Julia Rice, MA – Director, CVM Wellbeing

This presentation will examine domains of emotional intelligence as they apply to wellbeing in the workplace, with a focus on the domains of self- and social awareness. Benefits and limitations of emotional intelligence will be discussed. Practical applications of skills will be explored. Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
1. Describe how self and social awareness can affect wellbeing.
2. Compare and contrast benefits and limitations of emotional intelligence
3. Apply basic emotional intelligence skills in the workplace.

If you have a question during the lecture, use the chat feature to ask and the speaker will periodically answer questions.
