Two students from the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) have been awarded scholarships by the American Association of Swine Veterinarians (AASV) Foundation. They were among 15 students from across the nation to receive scholarships during the 48th AASV Annual Meeting in Denver.

Kylie Glisson, from the class of 2018, was one of five students to receive a $1,500 scholarship, and Olivia Myers, also from the class of 2018, was one of five students receiving a $500 scholarship.

A total of 50 students from 12 universities submitted abstracts for consideration by meeting organizers, and from those submissions, 15 were selected to make presentations in Denver. Zoetis, sponsor of the Student Seminar, provided a $750 travel stipend to each student selected to participate.
