Bio
Dr. Muyyarikkandy’s research focuses on environmental propagation and dissemination of major foodborne pathogens, environmental impact, and risk assessments. His projects involve microbiome analysis and whole-genome sequencing to better understand the connections between environmental and bird health and the potential hotspots for bacteria causing foodborne illnesses.
