Generous Supporters Power Another Successful Day of Giving for the College of Veterinary Medicine

Day of giving

NC State’s 2021 Day of Giving was again filled with an outpouring of kindness and millions in generous gifts that continue to highlight how we are truly stronger as a Pack.

In just 24 hours, College of Veterinary Medicine supporters gave more than $8.7 million, the most of any participating college for the third year in a row. These gifts will help fund the greatest areas of need in the college and hospital, help those with financial need afford care for their beloved pets and help the NC State Veterinary Health Complex invest in life-saving equipment for innovative care.

In all, NC State University received more than $58.2 million on the 2021 Day of Giving.

Support the College of Veterinary Medicine During NC State Day of Giving March 24

The loving companionship of our pets has been more important than ever this past year.

By supporting the College of Veterinary Medicine during the 2021 NC State Day of Giving, you can help us keep helping them.

By providing advanced clinical care, cutting-edge research benefiting animal and human health and educating the next generation of veterinarians, the CVM is making the world a better, safer place for both people and animals.

For 24 hours on March 24, you can support this vital work by making direct gifts and taking part in fun social media challenges. We’re stronger together as a Pack! This year, your donations can support these important areas:

All Gifts Great and Small Fund This fund supports the areas of greatest need at the College of Veterinary Medicine and the NC State Veterinary Hospital.

Companion Pet Assistance Fund The VetMed Companion Pet Assistance Fund helps ensure that those with the greatest financial need in these challenging times are able to give their pets the care they deserve.

Veterinary Health Complex Assistance Fund Cutting-edge medicine and research require state-of-the-art equipment. Your support allows the NC State Veterinary Hospital to continue providing advanced veterinary care.

Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram throughout the day and take part in the social media challenges that give the CVM a chance to match up against other NC State colleges and compete for bonus prizes. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #GivingPack.
