Photodynamic Therapy for Canine Soft Tissue Sarcoma

Description
The College of Veterinary Medicine is now recruiting dogs with STS to study a novel cancer treatment called interstitial photodynamic therapy (PDT). With PDT, a laser is inserted into the tumor, thus activating anti-cancer drugs and killing cancer cells.
Testing Requirements
– Body weight ≥ 5 kgs (11 lbs.)
– Age 1+ years.
– Tumor diameter between 3 and 15 centimeters.
– Cytology or histopathology consistent with STS
– Otherwise, healthy
