Now Recruiting Dogs with Soft Tissue Sarcoma

Description
This trial investigates a strategy to improve cancer control using a combination of standard radiation therapy plus a new immunotherapy drug called XCSgel. All enrolled dogs will receive surgery to remove the tumor. Because this is a blinded study, you will not know if your dog was given XCSgel or placebo.
Testing Requirements
Enrolled dogs will receive free testing, treatment, & follow-up with our oncology clinical trials team. This includes: bloodwork, CT scan, surgery, and radiation therapy.

Eligibility
– Pathologic confirmation of soft tissue sarcoma
– A tumor that is at least 4 cm, but no larger than 10 cm diameter
– Not received any other therapy (e.g., radiation and/or chemotherapy)
