Animal Health and Disease (AHD)

Covers the fundamentals of disease and medicine for problem solving, building differential lists and diagnoses, and developing treatment plans.

AHD pulls from a wide range of content areas addressing medicine in a comparative multi-species and multi-disciplinary format.  It is the largest of the five Threads, and claims the majority of time in Year Three as students prepare for clinical application of all they’ve learned.  Timing of content delivery is coordinated with the species-specific content in Exams and Interventions (E&I) and the systems-specific content in Form and Function (FF).
