The College of Veterinary Medicine and NC State Veterinary Hospital are part of NC State’s Centennial Biomedical Campus, located west of main campus along Hillsborough Street.

Getting to the College

FROM VIRGINIA, MARYLAND AND NORTHERN NC

  1. I-95 South to US 64 West
  2. Merge onto I-440 West (Outer Beltline) towards Wake Forest
  3. Take the NC 54/ Hillsborough Exit #3 and turn right at end of exit onto Hillsborough St.
  4. Turn right into the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine (William Moore Dr.)
  5. Hospital clients should follow signs for Terry Center, Health and Wellness Center or Equine and Farm Animal Center and park in lot in front of that hospital entrance. All other visitors should park in one of the marked visitor spaces (darker green on the map above) in the C permit parking lot across from the hospital. Visitors must then obtain a temporary daily permit from the College receptionist inside the main CVM entrance.

FROM EASTERN NC – FAYETTEVILLE

  1. I-95 North to I-40 West
  2. Take exit 293B
  3. Take exit #3 Hillsborough St. and turn right at end of exit onto Hillsborough St.
  4. Turn right into the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine (William Moore Dr.)
  5. Hospital clients should follow signs for Terry Center, Health and Wellness Center or Equine and Farm Animal Center and park in lot in front of that hospital entrance. FROM SOUTHERN NC – WILMINGTON

  1. I-40 West to exit 293B
  2. Take exit #3 Hillsborough St. and turn right at end of exit onto Hillsborough St.
  3. Turn right into the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine (William Moore Dr.)
  4. Hospital clients should follow signs for Terry Center, Health and Wellness Center or Equine and Farm Animal Center and park in lot in front of that hospital entrance. FROM WESTERN NC – CHARLOTTE, GREENSBORO, WINSTON-SALEM

  1. I-40 East to exit 289, Wade Ave.
  2. Take Blue Ridge Rd. exit and turn right
  3. Turn left onto Hillsborough at 3rd light
  4. Turn left into the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine (William Moore Dr.)
  5. Hospital clients should follow signs for Terry Center, Health and Wellness Center or Equine and Farm Animal Center and park in lot in front of that hospital entrance. All other visitors should park in one of the marked visitor spaces (darker green on the map above) in the C permit parking lot across from the hospital. Visitors must then obtain a temporary daily permit from the College receptionist inside the main CVM entrance.

Please Note: The College of Veterinary Medicine is a secure access facility. All guests must make an appointment and have a CVM sponsor to escort them through the buildings. We are unable to accommodate “walk-in” guests. This policy applies to the following but is not limited to: vendors, merchants, service technicians, prospective applicants, former faculty, staff, students and the general public.

Parking

Clients to the Randall B. Terry, Jr. Companion Animal Veterinary Medical Center may park immediately in front of the Terry Center as shown in purple on the map.

Clients to the Veterinary Health and Wellness Center and the Equine and Farm Animal Veterinary Center may park in front of those facilities as noted. Additional parking is available as noted with a C permit or a visitor’s parking permit, which can be obtained from the receptionist in the main CVM Administration Building.

Repeat visitors to the CVM will be asked to obtain daily permits directly from University Transportation.
