Covers hands-on clinical and animal handling skills for assessment, treatment, and intervention.

E&I introduces students to a variety of species and practices safety, handling skills, and early procedural skills in the first and second years, with increased focus on interventions and treatment in the second year.  By the third year, this Thread is primarily hands-on treatments and procedures coordinating with content learned in Animal Health and Disease (AHD).
