After 40 years of graduating the world’s best veterinarians, the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine is inviting all alumni to an event in August so we can catch up and celebrate. After July 31, please email Amy Merritt at [email protected] for assistance with registering!

Friday, Aug. 14, 2026
  • 2 p.m. Registration begins | Wolves’ Den 
  • 2 to 4:30 p.m. Field games (volleyball, cornhole) | Meet at the volleyball court
  • 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. VMD Sciences Group (all species, 1 credit hour) | D239
  • 5 to 7 p.m. Happy Hour under the back lawn tent!
Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026
  • 7:30 to 8 a.m. Registration | Wolves’ Den (Friday attendees should bring name badges and can proceed directly to CE events or stop by registration to grab coffee) 
  • 8 to 9 a.m. New World Screwworm Discussion with Dr. Andy Moorhead ’97 and Dr. Danielle Mzyk ’19 (1 credit hour) 
  • 9:15 to 10 a.m. Dean’s Welcome Address and Breakfast | Back lawn tent
  • 10 to 11:45 a.m. Student Showcase | Wander the Commons to meet with student leaders and learn about CVM student groups. Volleyball and lawn games will also be available during this time | North Commons
  • Noon to 1:45 p.m. Lunch | Back lawn tent
  • 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tours!
  • 4 to 7 p.m. Evening Reception | Join us for dinner, live music and lawn games | Under the tent
