2024 APVMA Symposium

March 8-9, 2024 • NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine

The annual American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association (APVMA) Symposium is designed to expose pre-veterinary students to the diversity of the profession, while also providing networking opportunities. Representatives from various colleges of veterinary medicine will be in attendance to familiarize students with their schools, as well as educate students of the opportunities available at each school.

The NC State College of Veterinary Medicine will host 600 pre-veterinary students March 8th through 9th for the 2024 symposium. With lectures and labs led by experts in the field, students will be exposed to common practices and advanced techniques in the veterinary profession.

Friday, March 8th

The Hilton Raleigh North Hills will serve as the primary hotel for the symposium. A block of rooms has been reserved at a discounted group rate for attendees. The room rates are as follows:

  • Single & Double Occupancy – $123 + tax per night
  • Triple Occupancy – $133 + tax per night

In order to receive the group rate, reservations must be made by Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

In the event that the Hilton sells out of rooms, the Comfort Inn Raleigh Midtown will serve as the backup hotel. The room rate for the Comfort Inn will be $95 + tax per night for single or double occupancy. To make a reservation, call the hotel directly at (919) 828-1813 and reference the APVMA Symposium. In order to receive the group rate, reservations must be made by Thursday, February 29, 2024.
