2024 APVMA Symposium

March 8-9, 2024 • NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine

The annual American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association (APVMA) Symposium is designed to expose pre-veterinary students to the diversity of the profession, while also providing networking opportunities. Representatives from various colleges of veterinary medicine will be in attendance to familiarize students with their schools, as well as educate students of the opportunities available at each school.

The NC State College of Veterinary Medicine will host 600 pre-veterinary students March 8th through 9th for the 2024 symposium. With lectures and labs led by experts in the field, students will be exposed to common practices and advanced techniques in the veterinary profession.

There will be several universities and companies from the veterinary industry on site exhibiting during the symposium. Attendees will also have the chance to participate in fun activities like the Feed the Pack Service Event, Pause for Paws, and photos with the NC State University mascots Mr. and Ms. Wuf.
