Atopic Dermatitis Drug Study

Description

A new trial to investigate a novel monoclonal antibody drug. The goal is to greatly reduce or eliminate the symptoms of this condition thus improving the dog’s quality of life.

Testing Requirements

-Patients will be required to come to NCSU for 8 study visits over the course of 14 weeks.
-Owners will be required to have multiple phone consults on weeks that in clinic visits are not held.
-Owners must closely monitor their dog at home and record in an Owner diary.

Eligibility

Dogs with moderate to severe non-seasonal Atopic Dermatitis (AD)
Food allergy excluded and/or controlled with an appropriate diet
Current on flea and tick prevention for 12 weeks prior to study and for the duration of the study
