Equine Research

The faculty, staff, residents and students at NC State’s College of Veterinary Medicine are on the forefront of exciting areas in equine research. Most of our researchers are also clinical veterinarians, treating our clients’ horses. They are passionate about finding ways to help alleviate the suffering of horses in need and enhance the equine industry.

Research Training Opportunities

The College of Veterinary Medicine is committed to addressing both the growing national need for veterinarians trained in biomedical research and the shift in emphasis toward multidisciplinary approaches to translate advances in research to the clinical setting.
