NC State Feline Health Center

Our Purrrpose

Established in 2023, the Feline Health Center (FHC) answers the demand for more cat-specific care on both a local and national scale. We aim to improve cat health through our 4 missions: clinical service, medical research, community outreach, and education.

Medical Research: Driving innovation and discovery around the most critical health
issues for cats including chronic kidney disease, cancer, hyperthyroidism, and heart
disease.

Clinical Services: Leading in feline tertiary medical care in a setting that considers
providing the optimal low-stress experience for feline patients and their owners. Consulting on complex health and behavioral issues with veterinarians and pet owners.

Educational Opportunities: Providing on site as well as virtual educational opportunities
in feline health care for both veterinarians and cat owners.
