Bio

Dr. Vaidehi V. Paranjape, BVSc, MVSc, MS, DACVAA, is a board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist (2019), clinician-scientist, and American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia- Founding Fellow in Pain Management (2026) whose expertise spans advanced anesthesiology, cardiovascular physiology, hemodynamic monitoring, clinical pharmacology, and pain medicine. She earned her veterinary degree and master’s degree in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology from Bombay Veterinary College in India, followed by advanced clinical and research training in the United States, including a master’s degree at Purdue University, a specialty internship in Anesthesiology and Critical Care at Louisiana State University, and a residency in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia at the University of Florida. Her research centers on translating sophisticated physiologic monitoring, including cardiac output assessment, dynamic indices of fluid responsiveness, and predictive hemodynamic technologies into more precise, individualized perioperative care across species. With additional interests in cardiovascular optimization, locoregional anesthesia, multimodal analgesia, and opioid-sparing strategies, Dr. Paranjape’s work brings together clinical pharmacology, innovative research, and advanced anesthetic practice to push the boundaries of precision anesthesia, perioperative medicine, and contemporary veterinary pain management.
