Bio
Dr. Regina Schoenfeld received her PhD degree in 2000 from the University of Northern Colorado. She spent 13 years as Coordinator of Instructional Design and Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Sciences at Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences prior to moving to Raleigh and joining the NCSU CVM. She is currently course coordinator for the clinical reasoning series in the DVM curriculum, and Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Veterinary Medical Education. Dr. Schoenfeld is also actively interested in curricular revision and mapping. She is leading the CVM’s efforts to create a visual curriculum map and will serve as thread leader for the Integrations and Applications theme in the revised curriculum.

Grants
The goal of this fellowship is to provide an ACVIM diplomate with the skills required to become an excellent clinical teacher. The fellowship will offer mentored guidance in instructional methodologies, course design, and educational research, in combination with clinical service in the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine Veterinary Health Complex.
