Overview
The Small Animal Species Priority concentrates on careers in companion canine and feline animal medicine, surgery, and husbandry, with a potential for a lesser focus on companion exotic species or mixed animal practice. This species priority area is well-suited for students seeking careers in small animal companion practice, shelter medicine, small animal specialty medicine, diagnostic-focus specialties, consultation medicine, academia, industry or the military.
