Academic Affairs
The Office of Academic Affairs serves the College of Veterinary Medicine's core academic mission to promote community, inclusivity, innovation and passion as we shape the future of veterinary medicine. Academic Affairs focuses on ensuring that both our educators and our student community are supported as they teach and learn, research and explore, discover new interests and expand the field of veterinary medicine.
The Office of Academic Affairs
Academic Affairs is supported by three teams: Academic Technology (AT), Curricular and Instructional Design (CID), and the Student Development Group (SDG).
The Interim Associate Dean of Academic Affairs is Dr. Lysa Posner.
Academic Technology (AT)
The Academic Technology (AT) team provides ongoing technical support for the CVM community and offers training sessions and professional development resources. We oversee the technology infrastructure of the CVM, assist in integrating various technologies into the CVM educational environment, and develop and evaluate new educational technologies and methodologies to improve learning outcomes and academic processes.

We serve as a home for academic, career, financial and mental health services, and we foster community engagement in alignment with the CVM’s values-driven culture.
We support students in a variety of ways, including course registration and academic support, student engagement, financial resources, counseling, career services, and more.
