Teaching in Biomedical Sciences Certificate

Looking to boost your resume for a future career as faculty?

The Centennial Biomedical Campus offers a Certificate in Teaching in Biomedical Sciences to encourage professional development and help prepare graduate students for future positions as faculty. Participants will need to register by completing the application below, complete 5 workshops and preparing and submitting the teaching portfolio requirements.

During the term you wish to complete the program, all materials must be submitted at least 1 month prior to the end of the semester. Certificates will be awarded on Graduation day of that term.


  1. Graduate School Workshop: Introduction to Teaching and Learning
  2. Any other FIT Workshop of your choice
  3. Any THREE College of Veterinary Medicine Certificate Program Lunches
  4. Teaching Portfolio – sent to once complete
