Kathe Garrison

NCVMF Vice President

Bio

I joined the NCVMF board after chairing the Christmas appeal for All Gifts Great and Small. We became grateful clients in 1988 after CVM saved our first Cairn Terrier Angus who spent a week in ICU with pancreatitis. Our rescue Cairns Lillie and Oliver were patients during their lifetimes. Harrison Garrison of Wolfpit was also a patient and the inspiration for the Harrison Garrison of Wolfpit Endowment for student scholarships. Our current Cairn Greyson Garrison of Wolfpit has had orthopedic surgery and rehab at CVM.

I am passionate about the incredible research and care of our beloved animals at NC State. The care and compassion shown by the veterinary doctors, students and staff are above and beyond anything we experience in human health care settings.
