Anesthesiology
Students, interns, and residents in this section are trained in anesthesia techniques and theory by faculty who are Diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (DACVAA). Faculty oversee students in the fourth-year anesthesia clinical rotation as well as guide and mentor students who pursue anesthesia electives and selectives.
Faculty in this section are practicing veterinarians who provide safe and progressive anesthesia to patients of the NC State Veterinary Hospital as well as researchers committed to advancing veterinary anesthesia. Faculty also consult on cases for local veterinarians.
